Daniel N. Pawuk – Immigration Lawyer
Daniel Pawuk is an experienced trial attorney who dedicates a portion of his practice to immigration law. Mr. Pawuk is well versed in the legal issues surrounding deportation (removal), visas, and other facets of immigration law, which is complex and ever changing. With his own cultural background and upbringing in a large Eastern European community in upstate New York, Mr. Pawuk is intimately familiar with the culture and people who continue to be drawn to the United States. In fact, Mr. Pawuk’s own family hails from a city on the border of Ukraine and Poland, and a significant number of them immigrated to the United States in the mid-1960’s. Through his family, and exposure to many Eastern European nationalities throughout his childhood and early adult life, Mr. Pawuk developed an interest in the language and history of these nations. He completed an intensive advanced summer language program at Harvard University’s Ukrainian Institute and studied the Polish language at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. He studied Russian in college and has travelled to Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Mr. Pawuk continues to be actively involved in Russian, Polish and Ukrainian organizations throughout the Tampa Bay area, and though he primarily caters his practice to clients from Eastern Europe, he welcomes prospective clients from all nationalities and will provide translation services for interviews, meetings or court proceedings.
